God Box

All of us have a God Box. We all have a limit to how big we think God is. Sure,  we will all quote Genesis 18:14 (look it up, I can’t give you everything),  yet we still try and stuff Him into our little container. However, at the end of the day, God will prove Himself to be greater than anything.

Our needs never dictate how big God is. In other words, it doesn’t ever matter how big your problem is God is bigger. Nothing is too difficult for Him. He supplies all our needs according to His riches, and not according to our needs. (Phillipians 4:19)

God refuses to be boxed in, so He has to stretch us, by revealing Himself to us little by little. The more He reveals the greater our capacity is to trust and believe Him. My box may be bigger than your’s, or your box may be bigger than the next guy’s. But, if we can ever learn how to take our limits off of God we could really see the exceeding greatness of God. (Ephesians 3:20) Even though we have our limits, we don’t have to restrict God to them. He is always bigger than my box.

  1. I like that — “it doesn’t ever matter how big your problem is God is bigger.” My family is sort of in limbo right now, waiting to see what doors open for our future. It’s good to find yet another reminder that God is bigger than all of it.

  2. Very good!! He supplies according to HIS riches and not our needs. I’m trying to destroy my God box, He’s too big!!! Nothing can contain Him!!
