God is an infinite and all powerful being. He is far too big and complex for any mind to fully understand, so it would be arrogant of anyone, including me, to say they know the mind of God. We cannot fully comprehend Him, we can only know what God has revealed.
Here is a truth about God’s mind: You’re ALWAYS on it.
God is always thinking about you, and I don’t mean you in a general, mankind, all inclusive kind of way. God is thinking about YOU … specifically … all the time.
God LOVES YOU!
God is CONCERNED about YOU!
God SEES YOU!
God HAS a PLAN for YOU!
I know we have heard this all the time, but it is absolutely true. You are in the gaze of the Most High God, and there is not a moment when are are not. I’m sure you’re wondering, like I have, of all the billions of people and situations on the planet, how could God be thinking about ‘lil ole bitty me? Well again, I don’t claim to fully know the mind of God; but Psalms 139 give us a glimpse.
“How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand.
When I awake, I am still with You.” (vs. 17-18, New American Standard Bible)
God’s love and plan isn’t exclusive to the “righteous”, but His affection has been extended to every individual who has walked this earth. Yes, He longs for you to be with Him, and He has provided a way for you to draw close. He knows who you are and all you’ve done. Every time you close your eyes, He’s thinking of you; and no matter what season you’re in, He still loves you, with all of His heart.
He went for broke to be with you, giving everything, even His only begotten Son for you. How will YOU respond to that?
